Bob Zangrillo is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Investment Officer of Dragon Global, a leading, AI-powered, private, investment firm focused on venture capital and real estate investments. Dragon Global’s venture capital strategy is focused on investing in Consumer Tech, Deep Tech, Enterprise, and Sustainable Energy leading enterprises. The firm makes a small number of large, concentrated venture capital investments in AI-enabled businesses with addressable markets above $100 billion in winner-take-most and winner-take-all opportunities led by Superhuman Founders and Builders with proven track records of building enduring enterprises at scale.

Over three decades, Bob Zangrillo, has been an Investor in twenty-four (24) companies that have surpassed $1 billion in market value, including eleven (11) companies above $10 billion, five (5) companies above $100 billion (Uber, Anthropic, xAI), and two (2) companies above $1 trillion (Meta and SpaceX).

His same conviction shapes the firm’s real estate strategy: building Magic City Innovation District, an AI-native, mixed-use community designed to build and empower a community that evolves and rewrites history on how we Live, Work, Play, Learn and – Giveback together. This 7.8 million square foot mixed-use development, located in the heart of Miami, is organized around four pillars: Health & Wellness, AI-native Technology, Sustainability & Resiliency, and Art, Entertainment & Culture. As the Founder of the Magic City Innovation District, Dragon Global is bringing this vision to Miami’s Little Haiti, where technology, culture, and community converge to define the next generation of urban living.

Zangrillo received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School and his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Vermont. He also completed the Executive Program in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management (MIT Management). Zangrillo has previously been a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he served on the Budget and Finance Committee.

Zangrillo is also a well-known philanthropist and sponsor of The Zangrillo Family Foundation, which supports several charities dedicated to preserving the Amazon rainforest and empowering indigenous peoples, including Re:wild and Amazon Conservation Team. Through his investment in the Magic City Innovation District, the project has committed $31 million to the Little Haiti Revitalization Trust. Additionally, The Zangrillo Family Foundation supports several local Miami projects in order to support the local community.
